The brief

Bring planned maintenance and reactive issues together, with an easy reporting route for staff.

The approach

A visual dashboard, ten connected register screens and location-specific QR reporting links.

The workflow

Report an issue, retain its reference, assign the work and record the resolution before closing it.

Inside the estates workspace

Explore the design and try the everyday workflows.

01 See what needs attention Visual dashboard

Maintenance-status charts, fault priorities and upcoming deadlines give managers a starting point for their day. Open a register to search records, review ownership and update progress.

The interface adapts for desktop, tablet and phone, with larger controls for touch use.

02 Staff reporting through QR codes Location already filled in

Create a QR label for a location so staff can open the reporting form with that area already selected. A submitted issue receives a reference for follow-up. Managers can assign the work and record notes and a closing date.

Try Staff QR access or Report an issue in the demonstration. Public demo reports stay in that browser tab and do not reach a real estates team. Each new tab starts with its own fictional records.

03 Explore the registers Ten operational views

The workspace covers assets, planned maintenance, maintenance history, inspections, certificates, faults, contractor visits, actions, a compliance calendar and audit checks.

Search, filter, edit a fictional record or export a register as CSV. Reset demo restores the examples; refreshing the page also discards changes.

04 Responsible maintenance planning Scope and readiness

The Google-backed application has passed live register and staff-reporting acceptance checks. This public demonstration uses fictional records, so visitors can explore the interface without accessing a customer workbook. Each customer installation needs its own permissions, maintenance schedule and site setup.

Task applicability, frequencies and evidence need competent site-specific review. Date colours show timing; they are not proof of compliance or SFG20 criticality ratings. The system does not include a licensed SFG20 schedule library.

This version uses evidence references and links. Automated reminders, emergency alerts, attachment uploads and external SFG20 integration are outside the current version.
